Las Vegas Strip Lights Up Sin City

lv-1The Las Vegas Strip is recognized for its brightly lit neon signs as the center of Sin City. Las Vegas Boulevard is internationally known for its dense concentration of resort hotels and casinos. The Strip is 4.2 miles long, and is technically located south of the Las Vegas city limits in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester.

The Strip is recognized as a scenic U.S. route at night for its dazzling bright neon lights that sparkle like no other place in this desert oasis. Some of the cities biggest hotels and casinos are located along the strip, including fifteen of the world’s 25 largest hotels. More than a third (62,000) of the city’s 150,000 hotel rooms are located along the Las Vegas Strip.

A new building boom is underway along the Strip. The STS hotel-casino recently opened as the newest center piece along this famous roadway. The Strip’s rapidly evolving skyline has popularized this marvel as one of the biggest destinations for tourists. The modern skyline is constantly being re-developed with changes by major hotel and casino chains with new hotels, casinos, restaurants and residential high rises.

New entertainment is constantly being introduced as Las Vegas gains increasing popularity as the home of entertainment, making the city one of the world’s most popular destinations for tourists. There is only one place on earth that is Las Vegas.

The dramatic architecture along the Strip is highlighted by New York, New York, an array of impressive buildings that focus on the Big Apple’s massive architecture loaded for living life to the fullest. An assortment of other outstanding architectural achievements add amazing visions to the Strip that sparkles like a jewel.

The stunning Bellagio water fountains that dance like fairies in an artistic series of dazzling lit fountains at night, are located just across the street from a replica of France’s Eiffel Tower.

The Strip refers to the stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard roughly located between Sahara Avenue and Russell Road. The Strip Area, Resort Corridor or Resort District all designate the same famous roadway reknown as the Las Vegas Strip. The term is also used by many to designate the area’s casinos and resorts located around the area, where millions of tourists flock each year in search of hitting the Big 1!
